Hi! How are you doing today? That's great. Thanks for taking the time to read my first blog post. My name is Victor (reaches out virtual hand to shake) and I'm the author of two previously self published books: Tommy the Courageous Bird & The Gift . I'm starting this blog today to chronicle my efforts in trying to get my second children's picture book "Walter The Turtle" published. As I did with my first book "Tommy the Courageous Bird" I'm trying my hand at getting published the old fashioned way, which involves writing lots of letters and sending lots of emails to small / indie publishing companies in the hopes my story lands in the hands of the right person, on the right day, at the right moment. I'm not holding my breath. If that doesn't work there's always the self publishing route. Not my ideal choice but beggars can't be choosers right?
